Willow & Wharf was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that every celebration should feel like home — warm, deeply personal, and beautifully intentional.

Founded on Cape Cod, our approach is shaped by the ebb and flow of the ocean, the gentle whisper of coastal breezes, and the timeless charm of our local community. We create events that invite you to slow down, savor each detail, and be fully present for life’s most meaningful moments.

From weddings and showers to milestone parties and intimate gatherings, every event is a story —

and we’re here to help you tell yours with heart.

 Intention in every detail.

 Calm, confident guidance.

 Personal connection.
We take time to truly know your story, your values, and your dreams — so each celebration feels unmistakably you.

 Rooted in community.
We honor local partnerships, cherish family connections, and celebrate the beauty of Cape Cod’s natural spirit.

Korinne Beressi

Owner & Lead Planner

I'm Korinne — the heart behind Willow & Wharf. My journey into event planning began when I stepped into the role of Maid of Honor for my brother Cody’s wedding. I found myself immersed in every detail: planning the shower solo, helping the bride-to-be Chloe with countless decisions, and loving every moment of bringing their vision to life. It lit a spark in me I couldn’t ignore.

Since then, I’ve poured that same passion into everything I plan — from my son’s over-the-top birthday parties to volunteering for local events like the Chris Wetherbee Memorial Toy Run. I’ve always had a knack for creating beautiful, meaningful moments, and Willow & Wharf is where those dreams come alive.

I’m based in Falmouth, which places me right in the heart of my service area — Cape Cod and Plymouth County. Whether I’m planning a cozy engagement dinner, an elegant wedding, or a joyful birthday bash, my goal is to make every client feel supported, seen, and stress-free. You’ll often hear me say: if you’re feeling overwhelmed, vent it out — I’m here for all of it.

My style is elegantly personal with a just-right touch of “boujee,” and I have a soft spot for intimate gatherings where every guest feels part of something special. I’ve been told I bring a rare balance of obsessive organization and warmth — and I wear that badge proudly.

Outside of planning, you’ll find me perfecting gourmet cheesecakes, sipping iced cappuccinos from my espresso machine, or relaxing with my friends at a bonfire BBQ. My favorite local escapes? Nobska Lighthouse and The Knob — quintessential Cape Cod beauty.

At the end of the day, I’m here to take the weight off your shoulders so you can be fully present for the memories you’re making. Let’s create something timeless together.

Shaun Carney

Logistics Coordinator  &  Calm in the Storm

Shaun is the kind of person you want by your side when it matters most — a natural problem-solver who thrives in the midst of chaos. As Willow & Wharf’s Logistics Coordinator (and affectionately known as our "Calm in the Storm"), he ensures that every setup, breakdown, and behind-the-scenes detail runs seamlessly.

Handy by trade, Shaun is the go-to for unexpected fixes and last-minute needs. His gentle, caring nature and unwavering resilience make him an invaluable part of the team.

Shaun and Korinne share a unique, nearly decade-long partnership, perfectly described by their phrase, "I am we." His favorite memory? Walking down the aisle with their son Odin as the ring bearer — a moment that embodies his devotion to both family and teamwork.

When he isn’t making magic happen at events, you can find Shaun enjoying Cape Cod’s hidden gems like The Knob, or quietly working on his next creative fix-it project.

Julie Badger

Heart of Hospitality

Julie brings a sense of grounded warmth to every event. As my best friend of over twenty years, she has a sixth sense for anticipating needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

She shines in quiet moments before an event starts — when candles are lit, the space is set, and that hush of possibility fills the air. Whether she’s managing behind-the-scenes details or guiding guests with her radiant smile, Julie ensures everyone feels comfortable and cherished.

Julie’s passion for hosting and her natural ability to create inviting, joyful spaces turn each event into an unforgettable experience. Her steady energy and deep kindness infuse every gathering with warmth.

Outside of events, she loves spending time near the ocean, catching sunsets, and finding new ways to spread joy in her community.

Alexander Beressi

Creative Solutions Assistant

Alex brings energy, creativity, and humor to the team — plus a sharp eye for detail that keeps things running smoothly (even if I’m the one keeping him organized!).

As my brother, we’ve shared a lifetime of inside jokes and quick thinking, and that translates beautifully into event days. From setup logistics to unexpected fixes, he thrives on the high-stakes, in-the-moment decisions that make each event unique.

His favorite moments? Seeing the client’s face light up when they first walk into their transformed space — and catching those little "wow" moments throughout the night.

When not at events, you might find Alex gaming (and "crushing noobs"), enjoying tea with a splash of cream and sugar, or relaxing with family and friends.
